KOICA Donated Vehicles to PNG Foreign Service

H.E Kang Ho-Jeung, Korean Ambassador to Papua New Guinea presented the car keys to Mr. Elias Wohengu, Secretary for Department of Foreign Affairs in March 2023 at Central Government Office.

Korean International Cooperation Agency KOICA has been a good and lasting partner for Papua New Guinea since 1975.

Over the years, we have seen KOICA’s support to the Government of Papua New Guinea by providing assistance in various areas.

Over the past years, KOIKA had donated vehicles to the Department of Foreign Affairs and other Government Department as well.

In March, this year KOICA donated six Hyundai Tucson to the Department of Foreign. This is the third time, KOICA donated vehicles to the Department.

The first was in 1997 and second was in 2016.

The Department is grateful for its continued support and hope that KOICA will consider re-opening its Office in Port Moresby.
