Foreign Minister Tkatchenko holds zoom Meeting with Admiral Paparo.
Port Moresby, Monday 28th April 2025 -Foreign Affairs Minister Hon. Justin Tkatchenko MP today held discussions with Admiral Paparo of the United State Defence Force on Friday April 25th, 2025.
The other penalists of the zoom meeting included Deputy Prime Minister Hon. John Rosso MP and US Ambassador Her Excellency, Ms Ann Marie Yastishock.
Their discussions were focused on the 50th Independence Anniversary celebrations for PNG which the US government gave an undertaking to support.
Admiral Paparo confirmed that he will be attending the anniversary celebrations.
The United States of America is one of PNG’s important partners around security and they will show case this come September 16th, 2025.
