2023 Major Restructure: The first batch of 23 support staff were Orientated from 11 -13 April and followed by the Public Service Induction from 29 May to 2nd June 2023.
The second batch of 35 Foreign Service Officers was Orientated from 04-06 September followed by the Public Service Induction from 18-22 September 2023.
The 2023 Foreign Service Training Program (FSTP) commenced in Wellington in October 2023 with 19 trainees from PNG, six (6) from Fiji and seven (7) from Vanuatu.
Because of the regional nature of the FSTP, the 2023 FSTP will be called Pacific Diplomatic Training Programme (PDTP).

- Attracting foreign investment clearly beneficial to the people of Papua New Guinea in the creation of employment and income earning opportunities, increasing in national revenues and transfer of skills, seeking mutual assistance for mutual gain.

- Managing and Conducting relations with foreign governments and international organization.
